Run the selection again with the lowest condenser temperature and corresponding liquid temperature the system will experience during the year. Select the valve that is in the 35 to 65% range, or closest to it, under BOTH conditions.

Distributor & High Side ∆P: R134a, R409A Total pressure drop averages in the range of 25-35 psi (1.7-2.4 bar).

R22, R404A, R407C, R422A, R422D, R438A, R448A, R449A, R454A, R454B, R454C, R455A, R466A, R507 Total pressure drop averages in the range of 35-45 psi (2.4-3.1 bar).

R410A, R744 Total pressure drop should be in the range of 45-55 psi (3.1-3.8 bar).
